The analysis highlights Trump's frequent visits to his Palm Beach County course, just a stone's throw from Mar-a-Lago, with each trip costing a staggering $3.4 million in travel and security expenses. Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence has become a hub for his golfing excursions, with 16 trips there and subsequent rounds at courses in West Palm Beach and Jupiter, as well as nine trips to his Bedminster, New Jersey course. The cost of these trips is substantial, with each estimated at around $1.1 million.
The most expensive trip, however, was to Aberdeen, Scotland, for the opening of a new course, which cost nearly $10 million. These figures are based on a 2019 Government Accountability Office report, which examined Trump's early trips to Mar-a-Lago.
