Peach co*cktails Perfect for Summer (Recipe) (2024)

Peach co*cktails that scream summer! An easy farm to table recipe…

Peach co*cktails Perfect for Summer (Recipe) (1)

It’s starting to feel like summer around here, so I thought I would revisit an old favorite peach co*cktail recipe that involves fresh farm peaches, a color blocked puree, and (of course) alcohol.

It’s like a beautiful looking alcoholic slushie. What’s not to love?!

So here’s the story… Back when I lived in Georgia, I visited this beautiful farm during peach season and had so many peaches, I almost didn’t know what to do with them all.

But then I started thinking about it, and I was able to whip up a handful of peach recipes: from a delicious peach galette in under an hour to a super easy peach crumble.

And then there was this peach slushy recipe. I didn’t come up with it though. Linda, my assistant at the time, did. And she nailed it!

It’s so pretty and truly delicious.

Plus, you can swap the peaches and strawberries out with nearly any of your favorite fruits.

Now, who’s ready for some co*cktails?

Naturally, they’re color blocked. Because if you’re going to make co*cktails, they might as well look cute too.

And given that I lived in Atlanta (also dubbed HOTlanta) when we started making these, these co*cktails are frozen.

Yum! If it were any more summery, it would come with its own pool float. Here’s the recipe…

Ingredients (makes 1 large serving):

  • 2 fresh peaches
  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups of Moscato*

*I chose Moscato (from Seven Daughters) for this co*cktail because it pairs well with peaches, but you could easily go with another varietal if you want to switch it up.

How to Make a Peach co*cktail

1. Prepare the peaches.

Remove the pit from the peaches and slice.

2. Blend.

Blend 2 sliced peaches, 1 tbsp sugar, and 1 cup of Moscato until they reach a smooth consistency (30-60 second depending on your blender).

Pour into a large glass.

3. Prepare strawberries and blend.

Remove the stems from strawberries and slice.

Then blend 2 cups of strawberries, 1 tbsp sugar, and 1/2 cup of Moscato.

Carefully pour the strawberry blend into the glass, on top of the peach mixture.

I found that tilting the glass and slowly pouring helped to achieve the color blocked look.

4. Garnish with a peach wedge.

Add a peach wedge and it’s ready for sipping.

Note: To get a color blocked co*cktail, I blended the peach mix separately from the strawberries, but you could always just blend everything together at once, if you don’t care about the color blocking.

The day that we made all these peach co*cktails felt like whirlwind day.

Off to the farm in the morning and then back to the house to whip these up. It was such a hot day, so it felt like the perfect way to end the day.

I had so much fun walking around the grounds with Harmony and snapping pics at the farm that day.

We got there pretty early in the morning (all about that morning light, amairight?) and I kept thinking what an awesome way it was to start the day in a field of peach trees just hanging out.

Looking for more peach recipes to try?

I have a bunch. Here are some of my favorites…

  • peach iced tea popsicles– I used to make popsicles ALL the time! And it’s because they’re so easy, refreshing, and tasty.
  • grilled peaches with homemade french toast– The combo of homemade french toast AND grilled peaches is a very, VERY good one. I promise.
  • peach crostinis– I love crostinis and if you add a little cheese, some peaches, and honey?! Even better.
  • grilled peaches (and cream) – Have you ever had grilled peaches before?! They are soooooo good. Especially with nice cream. Click through for the recipe.

Think you’ll give this farm to table co*cktail a try? Curious to know… Have you ever gone to pick peaches before? Did you love it!?!

P.S. If you’re in Georgia, I highly recommend visiting Jaemor Farms. That’s the farm I went to to snag all the peaches.

There was so much to see, I couldn’t get it all into one post. I shared a part two of my farm trip here (which includes the apple orchard and blackberries).

Shout out to Caroline who drove us around on a golf cart so we could explore anything and everything.
