Report for FindMatches.com review

During our evaluation of the online website, FindMatches.com, we found that is just another platform from InfraWeb Solution LTD. This company is based in Hong Kong, and they often advertise their dating platforms as a place for people to meet and date. However, this company is not what it appears to be.

With a cheerful design and free registration, FindMatches.com offers users the opportunity to join its community and find their soul mate. This platform is made up of a set of companies and third-party networks to monitor profiles between them. This is done so that they can be more ambiguous in the legal section and deceive users who pay for a subscription. Naïve users are often tricked by fake profiles of third parties or ones created by the company. Our experience with the site along with the negative reviews we found online had shown us that this company is a scam.

With the information we gathered, it was possible for us to detect fake profiles associated with third-party networks and even within the company’s own network. We found info on automatic renewal payments for subscription rip-offs without possible refunds. The services they provide are sending automatic and personalized messages. Also, without a subscription, users will not be able to read any messages and will only be able to send a limited number of messages. It’s safe to say that users will never be able to have a real date with these fake profiles.

Details on the FindMatches.com review

On the landing page, there is an image of a charming young woman being shown as an example of the users that make up this community. In addition, visitors to FindMatches.com can register for free by providing a few details about themselves. The page does not provide more information about the legal and privacy sections. For us, this was enough to identify it as a scam.

The company InfraWeb Solution LTD in Hong Kong is called an organization consisting of a group of subsidiary companies (group of companies). This group of companies provides automatic promotional and personalized messages to users at their discretion. They may contact other users to offer a broad collection of online resources that includes content from third parties. The last scam is that they do not accept refunds and the automatic renewal of the subscription is forced on a user, even for the trial period.

The following excerpts were taken from the Terms and Conditions

Activating this service will mean that we will automatically broadcast custom messages created by any user, or selected from a default list of template messages, to other users. We reserve the right to select members to use the Promote My Account service. Sending of messages through this service will be free, however, recipients who view and choose to reply to a Promote My Account message, will require to have an upgraded Paid Membership in order to reply to the sender.

Fake profiles

After gaining access to the website, we received many messages from users, even without filling in our bio or adding a photo of our face. Receiving so many messages without personal information is very suspicious.

After analyzing the Terms of Use, the use of fake profiles through automatic and personalized messages became clear. Users can also see an icon (PN) from the avatar of most profiles, where information about the name of the network and these users are registered. Some of these profiles are from other websites, such as BeNaughty.com, wantmatures.com, luvcougar.com, blacikwink.com, momgetnaughty.com, and maturesforf*ck.com. These websites are based in different countries but have similar Terms of Use and are non-transparent.

Subscription

This section is the final part of the scam. Even if registration is free, to see and reply to all messages, a membership is required. For a period of time, this service grants users with exclusive options such as reading and sending messages, and some other worthless service. It only serves to deceive users with fake profiles that have personalized, promotional, and automatic messages.

Even if users request a trial period, they will be asked to provide their credit card information. This information will later be used to automatically renew the subscription based on the chosen duration. It is stated in the terms that the cancellation period is 72 hours before renewal with the 3-day trial. This is virtually impossible; therefore, this is clear proof of a scam.

The conclusion from our FindMatches.com review

Once again, the company InfraWeb Solution LTD in Hong Kong intends to make a profit by using a scam service on the FindMatches.com dating website. This scam is operated through fake profiles from groups of companies and third parties through promotional, personalized, and automatic messages. Also, automatic charging for a subscription rip-off after the trial period will occur. Based on our experience and our review of the site, we recommend our readers not make use of this rip-off service. Go look for networks where your credit card information is not necessary for meeting someone to go on a date with.

I have also bee n scammed out of funds for various dating sites without my knowledge of it being the same company that rune these sites but beyond that they also offer dating background verification ID’s that are called PIV ID’S and they offer them for the price of $199 dollars and it’s fully refundable once your ID is completed , don’t fall for it .!!! As for me I did fall for it because a girl I wanted to meet and get to know told me of this ID and that she had gotten it herself but over time I believe she might of been working for them to hussle the money out of male consumers by pretending to be very interested but will not even talk on the phone without said ID, anyway that’s another story as for the ID ‘S story and scam they start at the 199 which I had sent by money transfer and right after they received that about an hour later they required an additional $299 dollars to continue to complete the ID this being said I was a little hesitant but this woman I was talking to said she had done the same and again it gets refunded back when completed so I sent the additional 299 expecting my said ID for dating meanwhile they said it will take a little while longer. Then the next day I received a email stating that the first part of my verification was done and that I had passed no problem but now they require a additional $799 dollars to complete the final verification now by this time I became very upset with them adding funds on again so the girl I wanted to meet had said she would pay part of the 799 to help get it done so she paid $350 and I paid the rest that was $450 dollars but the they required $249 dollars for late fees to continue the processing which I sent and again about a hour later another email claiming I had passed that verification and they require (I can’t remember how much ) in between $200-$300 dollars to complete the final stage and again I was told this was the final requirement of fun’s needed and I would get my ID so I sent it plus an additional $149 dollars for lates fees then I got a email stating all the funds so far will be refunded once they’ve completed the ID but they need funds in the amount of $200 dollars again on top of all the rest but this was for taxes and would not be refundable so I continued and paid that so again around 2-3 hours later expecting a email with a picture of the ID for the meantime but NO, instead I had received a copy of the ID stating it was pending and an additional $449 was required to totally complete the ID.. SORRY now I am very very angry and had informed them to forget the ID and just issue my refund and to this request I received a email stating that a refund cannot be processed until the ID is 100% complete, well needless to say this was back on March 26/2024 almost a month has passed and I have contacted them again today April 21/2024 requesting my refund and they still state the same thing that it cannot be processed until the $449 dollars is paid.. sorry to say a ID that was supposed to be $199 dollars has now cost me almost $2300 dollars and with the additional $449 dollars it would be close to $2800 dollars with as far as I’m concerned no way of guaranteeing that I will even actually get the refund or the ID considering the only document I’ve gotten acknowledging said refund and ID is short phrases in the email which in no way are legally binding.. as it sits right now I will not spend another penny on this and i have the police investigating the whole situation so the old saying is
BUYER BEWARE!!!! keep in mind not one of there emails said there actual company name until the one i got today staging they needed th payment of $449 dollars to complete the ID and process the refund but thats not happening cause i will not be sending any more funds period.!!
    thank you and be careful
    Shane.
